Founded in 2023 by Dr. Nakakeeto Margaret, the Nakakeeto Foundation began with a vision of supporting communities through health, education, and empowerment. Inspired by a desire to improve maternal and child healthcare in Uganda, Dr. Nakakeeto has gathered a team of dedicated professionals and partners to drive impactful programs and sustainable development.
Our Mission
To promote well-being, educational opportunities, and healthcare access for communities across Uganda, emphasizing maternal and child health, innovative technology, and educational outreach.
What We Do
1. Health and Technology: We partner with healthcare providers to offer essential prenatal and postnatal care, including medical check-ups, screenings, and emergency support. Our goal is to ensure that every mother and baby receives the medical attention they need for a healthy start.
2. Outreach Programs: We offer counseling services and support groups to help mothers navigate the emotional challenges of pregnancy and postpartum life. Our services provide a safe space for mothers to share their experiences and receive professional support.
3. Education and Training: We conduct workshops and seminars on various topics, including childbirth education, breastfeeding, newborn care, and parenting skills. Our educational initiatives are designed to equip mothers with the knowledge and confidence to care for themselves and their children.
4. Additional Initiatives: We provide nutritional support through food packages, supplements, and expert advice to ensure that mothers and their babies receive the necessary nutrients for optimal health.
